LADERA RANCH A birthday was a reason to fundraise for one Ladera Ranch resident.
Tristan Muller, who celebrated his 36th birthday Saturday, asked his friends to bring donations for Stop Hunger Now and its earthquake relief efforts in Haiti, Muller said.
The party raised $814. Muller, who works for a software consulting firm, said his company will match the amount by $500. He added that his wife’s employer would match that amount, for a total of $2,628 raised for Stop Hunger Now.
“Most people are looking for an opportunity to help,” Muller said.
